Paper-based packaging material such as moulded fibre has numerous ecological advantages compared to packaging material made of oil-based plastic.

The first EMFA info brochure gives an overview about the main benefits of this packaging material:
moulded fibre consists of renewable and carbon-neutral raw materials, is CO₂ biodegradable and can be recycled.   

With this brochure EMFA adresses its target groups: egg producers, retailers, organisations and media outlets throughout Europe. As it is our intention to promote moulded fibre as an environmentally friendly material as well as the products and packaging made from it, further informational material with different impacts will be developped.
