Moulded Fibre protects the environment

Development based on sustainability requires among other things the responsible utilization of available resources. Moulded fibre materials are particularly well suited here, because they are made from reproductive raw materials.

Their production is environmentally friendly and they can be easily disposed of after use. Thanks to properties such as its mouldability, stability, breathability and relatively good water resistance, moulded fibre is an innovative material which is continuously finding new areas of application.

Products made of moulded paper have been manufactured industrially for over 100 years. Today, moulded fibre packaging is used mainly in the food sector for packing eggs, fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. In addition to this, however, it is becoming increasingly more popular as a sturdy transport packing material for neon tubes, mobile phones, electric razors, wine bottles, cans, automotive parts etc.
